Part-Time Mental Health Therapist Life Matters Counseling and Psychological Services — Farmington, Utah Life Matters Counseling and Psychological Services is seeking a warm, collaborative associate or independently licensed therapist to join our growing group practice. We have an established need for clinicians who genuinely understand ADHD, autism, and neurodivergence. However, support with niche development will be provided. We are looking for someone who can provide thoughtful, practical, and affirming care to adults and young adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants the support and referral flow of a group practice while maintaining clinical autonomy and a sustainable daytime schedule. About the Position Part-time position with the opportunity to grow Weekday daytime hours, with office availability 9am-2pm . Optional Saturday availability Primarily in-person services in Farmington, with telehealth opportunities as appropriate Established demand for ADHD- and autism-informed therapy Support with referrals, scheduling, billing, credentialing, marketing, and furnished office space Compensation based on experience, specialized training, and qualifications Who We Are Looking For The ideal clinician has meaningful experience supporting neurodivergent adults and young adults. They understand that ADHD and autism involve much more than attention difficulties or social skills. Overall, we are seeking a clinician who is affirming and who can thoughtfully treat anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, sleep problems, and other clinical needs. Testing can be a job responsibility if qualified. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adults and young adults Complete timely and clinically appropriate documentation Develop collaborative, individualized treatment plans Adapt interventions to clients' executive-functioning, communication, sensory, and processing needs Coordinate with prescribers, evaluators, and other providers when appropriate Refer clients for formal psychological assessment when diagnostic clarification is needed. Participate in required consultation or team meetings Maintain ethical, professional, and inclusive clinical practices Required Qualifications Active, independent Utah license Graduate degree from an appropriately accredited program Strong understanding of professional boundaries, ethical practice, and scope of competence Ability to work independently while participating collaboratively in a group practice Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ+-affirming care Ability to provide weekday daytime appointments This position is not currently open to LMFT's. Preferred Qualifications Experience with late-identified or late-diagnosed ADHD and autism, as well as ADHD & midlife women Experience adapting ACT, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-informed approaches for neurodivergent clients Being credentialed with major Utah insurance plans is helpful but not required.
