Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist, Counselor, or Social Worker to join our team in Petoskey, Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals addressing a variety of mental health issues. This role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and resilience. Candidates must possess a Michigan Doctoral license in Psychology or a Michigan Masters license in Counseling or Social Work. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention services to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as behavioral therapy and grief counseling to support clients in their healing process. Engage in individual and family counseling sessions to address the dynamics affecting mental health for individuals and within family systems. Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress and treatment outcomes for clinical research purposes. Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses and treatment plans. Collaborate with our team as well as other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients. Skills Proficient in mental health counseling techniques with a strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies. Knowledgeable in grief counseling practices and skilled in providing support for individuals experiencing loss. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards for accurate clinical documentation. Expertise in clinical counseling approaches tailored to diverse populations and presenting issues. Competent in applying behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate positive behavioral changes in clients. Understanding of psychopharmacology principles as they relate to mental health treatment.
