Therapist Overview Healing Hearts Compassionate Counseling LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated therapists to join our growing outpatient mental health practice. Our mission is to provide supportive, client-centered, and culturally responsive mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The therapist will provide individual and family therapy services to clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. Services may be provided in the office, virtually, or in approved school-based settings based on client needs and therapist availability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, effective communication, and a genuine commitment to helping clients improve their emotional well-being. Therapists must be able to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the clinical director and completing all required documentation within established timeframes. Duties and Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and other approved psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and gather relevant psychosocial, behavioral, medical, and family information. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's diagnosis, symptoms, strengths, needs, and goals. Provide evidence-based and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions. Complete progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentation accurately and on time. Assess clients for suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and other safety concerns. Develop and review safety plans when clinically appropriate. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, professional ethics, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, schools, medical providers, insurance companies, and other members of the client's treatment team when appropriate authorization is available. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families. Monitor client progress and update treatment goals and interventions as needed. Provide referrals to psychiatric, medical, crisis, community, or higher-level services when appropriate. Participate in supervision, consultation, training, and practice meetings as required. Maintain an active professional license and complete all continuing education requirements. Manage an assigned caseload and maintain consistent availability for scheduled clients. Notify the practice promptly regarding scheduling concerns, client emergencies, documentation issues, or changes in availability. Follow practice policies related to attendance, cancellations, billing, communication, and clinical documentation. Maintain professional liability insurance and all required credentialing documents. Provide telehealth services from a private, secure, and professional setting when applicable. Perform other clinically appropriate duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or another related behavioral health field.
