Job Description
About the Role Lartey Wellness Group is seeking compassionate, relationship-focused clinicians to join our growing outpatient mental health practice. Due to a significant increase in demand for couples and family counseling services, we are expanding our clinical team and welcoming licensed mental health clinicians who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier and more fulfilling relationships. This is a hybrid position combining in-person services at our Laurel office with secure telehealth sessions. We are looking for clinicians who are comfortable working with individuals, couples, families, and children ages 5 and up and who are committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. Clinicians interested in developing their expertise in evidence-based couples and family therapy are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Couples & Family Counseling:
Provide evidence-based therapy services to couples, families, and individual clients experiencing relationship, communication, emotional, and behavioral challenges.Clinical Documentation:
Complete treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, and other required clinical documentation accurately and on time.Hybrid Service Delivery:
Provide therapy sessions both in person at our Laurel office and virtually through our secure telehealth platform. This position requires four days of in-person services at our Laurel office and one day dedicated to virtual sessions. Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team meetings to support high-quality client outcomes.Client Engagement:
Build strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining ethical, professional, and clinical standards of care.Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Candidates must hold an active Maryland mental health license, permit, or qualifying credential, including: Psychology AssociateLGPC LMSW LCPC LCSW-C LCMFT
Education:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.Experience:
Previous experience providing couples, family, or individual therapy is preferred. Candidates must be willing to work with children ages 5 and up.Clinical Practice:
Candidates must be prepared to provide services within the scope of their Maryland credential and participate in required supervision, when applicable.Training Requirement:
Candidates must be willing to complete Gottman Method Training within two weeks of employment. The cost of training will be reimbursed after six months of successful employment.Technology:
Comfortable using an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, telehealth platforms, and other clinical technology. Schedule Requirements This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week.Required availability includes:

4:00 PM-8:00PM Saturday:

$85.00 per therapy session $95.00 per intake assessment Rates apply to both in-person and virtual sessions.
