Job Description
Job Summary Hello! We are excited to offer a position in our newly renovated office in Manchester, NH. Optimal Behavioral Health Serices is a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care for all. We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality mental health care to diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities. The therapist will engage in various therapeutic modalities and interventions to support clients in their mental health journey. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention techniques. Perform intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide crisis management and support for clients experiencing acute mental health issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including case management and referrals as needed. Engage in telehealth services as required, ensuring accessibility for clients unable to attend in-person sessions. Participate in clinical research and data collection to contribute to the advancement of mental health practices. Stay informed about the latest developments in behavioral health, including ICD coding updates (ICD-9, ICD-10) and psychopharmacology. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and experience with patients experiencing PTSD or chronic pain. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment protocols, and behavioral health documentation standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable.
