Job Summary:
Canopy Wellness is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team. We are opening Missouri's first Mental Health primary residential program! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in trauma-informed clinical modalities and a commitment to the harm reduction approach to mental health treatment. This role offers clinical autonomy, a flexible work environment, and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities:
Maintain a maximum of 26 clinical hours per week, including: A maximum of a 8 person caseload for individual therapy. 8-10 hours of leading group therapy sessions. Develop and implement empirically supported, trauma-informed programming in collaboration with the Clinical Director. Provide high-quality, client-centered mental health services. Engage in ongoing professional development through employer-funded clinical training opportunities. Comply with ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice. Be timely and effective in documentation for insurance purposes. Work a flex schedule into weekends depending on role and experience.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant mental health field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology). CACREP programs preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in trauma-informed work environments and/or mental health settings (clinical experience preferred). Provisionally licensed applicants must obtain independent licensure supervision at their own expense. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, addressing SPMI effectively and a client centered approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Expansive organizational and time management skills necessary to maintain all documentation standards.
