This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges. As a vital member of our therapeutic team, you will play a key role in promoting the emotional well-being of your clients. About the Organization The Community Wellness Center is a trusted provider of integrated behavior health services. Our mission is to empower individuals and families by offering comprehensive therapies that foster a healthier lifestyle. As a remote LMFT, you will engage with patients via teletherapy platforms and phone consultations, ensuring that you can adapt to their needs effectively. You will have the guidance and support of a collaborative team, with regular meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and provide peer support, all aimed at enhancing your practice and client engagement. Key Responsibilities Establish strong therapeutic alliances with patients, fostering a positive and trusting environment essential for effective treatment. Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, ensuring the development of personalized treatment strategies. Create tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, factoring in their circumstances and personal goals. Regularly meet with clients—both individually and in couples or family settings—to provide therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans as needed. Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with other professionals within the organization to provide a comprehensive care approach, referring clients to specialists when required. Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices, particularly in the areas of addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance abuse challenges. A particular focus on families and couples means that you will frequently facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional support strategies that promote healthy relationships. Qualifications A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada. A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Preferred Experience Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Experience working within a team-oriented environment where collaboration and communication are key to achieving patient goals. Proficiency in using various teletherapy platforms for remote counseling. Proven ability to motivate clients and facilitate growth through effective therapeutic skills. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
