Description Position Overview MindWell Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative and compassionate team. Work Environment This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a balance between your professional and personal life. Our outpatient office is designed to provide a collaborative atmosphere, where therapists share resources and insights to foster a sense of community. You will have access to continuous professional development opportunities, including training in mindfulness and stress reduction techniques. Key Responsibilities Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients aiming for improved emotional regulation and stress relief. Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' challenges, stressors, and individualized treatment goals. Guide clients through personalized mindfulness exercises, teaching meditation techniques, breathing practices, and self-reflective strategies to enhance self-awareness. Facilitate interactive group workshops focused on mindfulness applications, stress management, and building resilience within a supportive group setting. Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to address specific mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness practices into each client's treatment strategy. Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, sessions, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with professional standards. Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and participate in ongoing training to deepen your expertise in mindfulness methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with adults and adolescents facing a plethora of mental health challenges. Clients seeking support often struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, and the impacts of trauma. By utilizing mindfulness strategies, you will help clients reduce their stress levels, improve emotional regulation, and foster resilience in their daily lives. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California. Preferred Experience Experience with or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other mindfulness practices is advantageous. Proven proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Excellent communication skills, with a talent for creating a calming and supportive therapeutic environment conducive to client growth. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from
USD 115,000
