Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, ensuring that treatment plans are based on comprehensive insights. Create individualized therapy programs tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide an integrated approach to mental health care, addressing co-occurring issues effectively. Support families throughout the therapeutic process by offering educational resources and guidance to enhance their understanding of individual and collective experiences. Maintain accurate, confidential client records while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards in documentation and reporting. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve primarily include individuals, couples, and families struggling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Your expertise will not only address their psychological needs but also focus on improving their relational dynamics. By fostering a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship, you will guide clients towards healthier family interactions and emotional resilience. Qualifications Must possess a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients. Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards diverse client backgrounds and experiences. Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle administrative duties alongside direct client care. Preferred Experience Experience in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling tools to enhance remote service delivery. Background in working with clients from various socioeconomic, cultural, and demographic backgrounds. Previous involvement in family therapy, mediation, or conflict resolution processes. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and additional certifications.
