Job Overview Ray of Light Wellness LLC is seeking a compassionate, culturally competent, and trauma-informed independently licensed mental health professional to join our thriving virtual group practice. Founded in 2017, we specialize in providing accessible, high-quality telehealth services across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine. This is a 100% remote, Full-Time W2 position offering exceptional schedule flexibility. You will provide evidence-based, clinical individual therapy to a diverse clientele while utilizing our fully secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal.
We are looking to extend official offers and complete hiring decisions within 1-2 weeks of interviewing.
Onboarding Window/Preparation Time:
Please note that the full onboarding process takes 2-3 months before clinical client sessions, necessary to complete your insurance credentialing and to build your targeted caseload.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Caseload:
Maintain a full-time workload by meeting a requirement of 25 billable hours per week once onboarding is complete.
Direct Care:
Conduct virtual individual therapy sessions for clients presenting with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, life transitions, and other diagnostic needs
Collaboration:
Attend and actively participate in our mandatory biweekly paid group meeting.
Documentation:
Maintain timely, accurate, and secure clinical notes via our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Required Qualifications Licensure:
Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Massachusetts (LICSW or LMHC ). Also, open to LCSW professionals in Massachusetts who are not independently licensed but meet at least 3 years of experience in the field.
Education:
Master's in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
Clinical Approach:
Strong alignment with trauma-informed care, culturally inclusive practices, and a strong openness to working with the LGBTQ+ community.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and basic digital troubleshooting. Some Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Bilingual Skills:
Ability to provide clinical therapy fluently in a second language (preferably Portuguese or Spanish).
EMDR Training and Qualifications:
Completion of an EMDRIA-approved EMDR training program is preferred but not required.
Multi-State Licensure:
Hold active dual licenses, or are actively working toward becoming dual-licensed, in more than one New England state (MA, RI, CT, or ME).
Holistic Health:
Experience or interest in mindfulness, meditation, somatic approaches, yoga, or integrative mental health.
Compensation Structure Fee-for-Service:
Compensation is structured on a fee-for-service model for all clinical work.
Billable Only:
Clinical pay is generated exclusively from completed clinical sessions.
No-Show Policy:
Unattended sessions, late cancellations, or missed appointments are unpaid.
Base Hourly Rates:
$58.00 - $65.00 per clinical hour, scale is dependent upon clinical experience and specific licensure.
Saturday Premium:
Earn an extra $10 per hour for any clinical hours completed on Saturdays. Groups- Earn an extra $10 per hour for conducting group therapy sessions.
Meeting Rate:
Time spent in our biweekly group meetings is fully compensated at a dedicated internal meeting rate different than clinical rate.
