Job Description
Overview We are a specialized practice dedicated to treating sexual addiction and working with clients who have experienced trauma. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapy, support clients through their recovery journey, and contribute to creating a safe and healing environment. This role involves working closely with individuals facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges related to sexual addiction and trauma. Duties Conduct individual therapy sessions focused on treating sexual addiction and trauma, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment that encourages openness and trust. Assess clients' mental health status, progress, and response to treatment, adjusting approaches as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards. Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in trauma-informed care and addiction treatment. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field. Valid licensure or certification as required by state or local regulations (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC) or working towards licensure with outside supervision. Nice to have Experience working with clients dealing with sexual addiction and trauma preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and foster trust with clients. Nice to have Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, EMDR, or other trauma-informed therapies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
