Job Description:
Are you a child therapist who's passionate about trauma work — but exhausted by agency life or overwhelmed trying to go solo in private practice? At The Trauma Therapy Company , we help provisionally and fully licensed therapists build trauma-focused practices that are supported, flexible, and sustainable . You focus on the kids and families — we handle the business side. We're currently seeking therapists who specialize in working with children and adolescents for a 1099 independent contractor position . You'll receive expert clinical and business support to help you grow a caseload that fits your lifestyle, values, and career goals.
What We Provide:
Supervision for LSWs, LPCs, and MFTs Credentialing and billing — we handle the logistics Steady flow of child and family referrals Full admin support (intake, scheduling, insurance)
EMDR & DBT
training and consultation Individual and group supervision Business coaching to help you grow your ideal caseload Work from home or in-person (if preferred) A collaborative, trauma-informed team rooted in social work ethics
Who You Are:
A licensed therapist in Ohio (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT, PsyD) Passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families Trauma-informed and values ethical, relationship-based care Interested in (or trained in) EMDR, DBT, play therapy, or somatic modalities Looking for flexibility, mentorship, and a supportive clinical community Preferred (Not Required): Experience with trauma care for children or teens Familiarity with working under Medicaid or commercial insurance A growth mindset and desire to develop clinical specialties Excellent documentation and communication skills
Compensation:
This is a 1099 contractor position with competitive split rates. Therapists typically earn $45-$100 per hour , depending on hours worked, reimbursement rates and speciality/licensure.
Schedule:
You set your hours — part-time or full-time Remote or hybrid options available 15 hour minimum We'd love to meet you and see how we can help you build a practice you love — without burnout.
