The ideal candidate is a compassionate and motivated clinician skilled in providing both individual and group therapy to adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment where clinical integrity and quality care come first. The Primary Therapist will work closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide evidence-based interventions, develop individualized treatment plans, and help clients achieve meaningful, lasting recovery. Responsibilities Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions consistent with each client's treatment plan. Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and collaborate with clients to establish measurable treatment goals. Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically indicated. Facilitate group sessions focused on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping skills, and trauma-informed recovery. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR (KIPU) in compliance with BHDDH and Joint Commission standards. Collaborate with case management, nursing, medical, and peer support staff to coordinate holistic care. Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and case reviews to support quality assurance and client outcomes. Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in all aspects of care. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health treatment. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Experience in outpatient mental health and/or substance use treatment preferred. Strong clinical documentation and EMR proficiency (experience with KIPU a plus). Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries. Commitment to client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care.
