The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently looking for a Master's Level Group Therapist/Clinician to join our team of dedicated professionals. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Full Time Masters's Level Group Therapist/ Clinician to provide therapeutic services to patients, including groups therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Position Summary:

Lead therapeutic group sessions for diverse patient populations, including crisis stabilization, geriatric, adolescent, and adult behavioral health populations Facilitate psychoeducational, process-oriented, and skills-based therapeutic groups Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including group notes and treatment updates Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive treatment Educate patients on coping skills, symptom management, relapse prevention, stress reduction, and wellness strategies Foster engagement, therapeutic communication, and meaningful participation among group members Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care recommendations when appropriate Schedule Options This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options: Monday

Education:

Master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or a similar educational degree required. Licensure preferred

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Addiction recovery and suicide prevention experience preferred. Experience facilitating therapeutic groups in inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, or behavioral health setting preferred.
