Role:

Seaside Counseling and Wellness is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children's Therapist to join our growing team in beautiful Mount Pleasant, SC. Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy sessions to children using evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, etc.) Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with parents, guardians, and caregivers to support therapeutic goals at home Coordinate care with schools, pediatricians, and other community providers as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements:

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active or eligible licensure in South Carolina (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents Familiarity with play therapy, trauma-focused CBT, or other child-centered modalities preferred Strong communication and family engagement skills Ability to maintain professional boundaries and manage a diverse caseload Empathetic, patient, and culturally competent approach to care Ready to Apply?
