Job Summary Robin's Nest, PLLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. We are looking for a clinician who values quality client care, professional accountability, and the whole-person approach that is central to the mission and values of Robin's Nest. The ideal candidate will maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 28 client sessions per week, with a preferred caseload of approximately 30-32 sessions weekly. Clinicians should be organized and committed to timely documentation, including completing progress notes within 48 hours of each session and completing diagnoses and treatment plans within required timeframes, generally within 48 hours. Dependability and consistency are especially important in this role. We are looking for a therapist who respects clients' time by maintaining scheduled appointments, running sessions on time, and minimizing avoidable cancellations or schedule changes. When delays, cancellations, missed appointments, or other scheduling concerns occur, therapists are expected to be proactive in ensuring clients receive timely communication and appropriate follow-up. Administrative support will be available to assist clinicians with scheduling, rescheduling, and client communication as appropriate; however, therapists are expected to remain engaged in maintaining continuity of care and a positive client experience. We are seeking someone who works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrates strong clinical judgment and ethical practice, and genuinely wants to invest in the clients and community we serve. Candidates should be comfortable working within the mission, values, and whole-person philosophy of Robin's Nest and contribute positively to a supportive and respectful workplace culture. Candidates must hold an appropriate license to provide mental health services and be eligible for credentialing with the insurance plans accepted by Robin's Nest. Robin's Nest will coordinate and cover the cost of required credentialing and enrollment processes. Compensation is competitive and flexible, with multiple compensation structures available depending on the clinician's preferences, experience, caseload, and employment arrangement. Specific options can be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Provide ethical, compassionate, and clinically appropriate mental health counseling within the therapist's scope of practice and areas of competency. Maintain a minimum of 28 completed client sessions per week, with 30-32 sessions preferred. Complete progress notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes, generally within 48 hours. Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality, minimize avoidable cancellations, and communicate proactively when scheduling issues affect clients. Follow up appropriately with missed appointments and support continuity of care, with administrative personnel assisting with scheduling and client communication as appropriate. Assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and utilize appropriate evidence-based interventions. Maintain accurate and compliant records and adhere to HIPAA, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, mandated reporting laws, and Robin's Nest policies. Maintain professional licensure and eligibility for required insurance credentialing and recredentialing. Collaborate professionally with the Robin's Nest team and other providers when appropriate. Contribute to a dependable, supportive, and respectful workplace while practicing in alignment with the mission, values, and whole-person philosophy of Robin's Nest.

Experience Required:

Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related qualifying mental health field. Current Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing. Ability to meet credentialing requirements for applicable insurance panels utilized by Robin's Nest. Demonstrated ability to assess client needs, develop treatment plans, provide appropriate psychotherapy services, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Strong organization, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a consistent weekly caseload while maintaining timely documentation and high-quality client care. Understanding of HIPAA, professional ethics, confidentiality, mandated reporting, professional boundaries, and applicable Tennessee requirements.

licensure strongly preferred. Previous outpatient or private-practice mental health experience preferred but not required. Experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and/or families. Experience treating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, ADHD, relationship concerns, and other behavioral health conditions. Training or experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, or other recognized modalities. Experience working with insurance-based clients and associated clinical documentation requirements is beneficial. Experience collaborating with other mental health, medical, or wellness professionals. Comfortable working within a whole-person environment that recognizes emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being while respecting each client's individual beliefs and preferences.

Experience Level:

Previous clinical experience is preferred; however, Robin's Nest is open to clinicians who are newer to private practice and demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, dependability, initiative, and alignment with the mission and values of Robin's Nest.
