Responsibilities:
Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical cases with meticulous attention to patient safety Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to optimize surgical outcomes Maintain sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control protocols Accurately document intraoperative nursing activities Support and educate patients pre- and post-operatively Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies with poise and professionalism
Qualifications:
Active RN license (compact or TN-specific) At least 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and operative procedures Proven ability to adapt smoothly in fast-paced, multi-specialty operating environments
