06/10/2026 About the Role The Therapist I provides Clarvida-approved therapeutic interventions to clients and families to support identified behavioral and emotional changes. This role also assists with case coordination and resource linkage, collaborating with clients, families, and external stakeholders such as DCS, court personnel, and community supports to ensure comprehensive care and successful outcomes. Responsibilities Assess clients during intake and conduct community-based client visits Provide therapeutic services including coping skills development, behavior modification, parenting skills, and crisis intervention Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to assigned clients Transport clients as needed and complete on-call responsibilities Develop, personalize, and update treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team Ensure all treatment plans comply with Clarvida policies, state regulations, and COA accreditation standards Serve as a liaison and advocate for clients with external professionals and agencies Attend supervision and treatment team meetings and present client progress as required Support team members to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and families Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes and resolve documentation deficits promptly Conduct peer audits and contribute to performance quality improvement initiatives Utilize data collection and analysis to improve client care and program effectiveness Required Qualifications Master's degree in a field eligible for mental health licensure in Tennessee Thorough knowledge of child development and therapeutic interventions Ability to work with diverse cultural and socioeconomic populations Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours and travel between locations Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active automobile insurance Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic, community-based environment
