This position will be an onsite clinician position. The primary goal of the Clinician is to provide exceptional clinical treatment services including assessment, treatment planning and therapy to clients. The clinician participates as a member of the Treatment Team and provides a unique perspective to the Team in an effort to provide the best and most well-rounded care for each of our clients.
Individual, Family,& Group Therapy:
A case load of "Primary" clients, "Secondary" clients, as well families, will be assigned by the Clinical Leadership Team. In addition to therapy sessions, "Primary" duties include the provision of therapy, case management, coordination of auxiliary care, overseeing client schedules and therapeutic structures, development and management of the client's treatment plan, and providing families with updates on how their loved one is doing in the program. Active Participation in weekly Administrative, Clinical and Training meetings: Clinical record documentation - Documentation requirements will include writing and submitting progress notes and reports on a daily basis, completion of admission and discharge summaries and treatment plan updates, disciplinary and treatment recommendation letters, and supporting auxiliary and support staff with requisite documentation needs. Clinical coordination and consultation with other staff members, in person, by phone and/or by responding to/sending emails. Facilitating assessments. Exhibit General Psychotherapy Skills (Develop Effective Therapeutic Alliance, Effectively Gather Data, Exhibit Diagnostic-Analytic Skills). Utilize Intervention Skills (Maintain Working Alliance, Focus Therapy, Understand Personal Process Issues, Engage in Appropriate Crisis Intervention, Exhibit Case Management Skills). Demonstrate Skill in Various Treatment Settings/Modalities (Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy) Effective time management and adherence to time boundaries Thorough, succinct, and on-time with paperworkMinimum Qualifications:
Masters Degree required Licensed clinician strongly preferred Experience with serious mental illness preferred Addiction and mental health preferred 3 years of clinical experience required, residential setting preferred Comprehensive treatment planning skills required Experience working with families Case management and discharge planning skills Computer typing skills and ability use various software programs Additional skills preferred include family therapy, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and/or somatic experience therapy.
