Our team values collaboration, professional growth, and creating a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Therapist to join our growing private practice in Edinburg, Texas. Job Summary We are looking for a fully licensed clinician (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) with experience working with children and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while supporting parents through the therapeutic process.
Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy to children, and adolescents Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care Collaborate with parents/caregivers to support client progress Utilize evidence-based approaches (e.g., play therapy, CBT, etc.) Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations Offer availability for weekend sessions
Qualifications:
Active Texas license: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent Experience working with children and families (preferred) Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Strong professionalism and ethical standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team
