Licensed Primary Therapist Milestone Treatment Euless, TX Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Risk assessment Full Job Description About the Role Milestone Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Primary Therapist to provide clinical care to individuals receiving treatment for substance use and mental health conditions. The Primary Therapist plays a central role in each client's treatment, providing individual and group therapy, developing individualized treatment plans, responding to clinical needs and crises, and collaborating with the treatment team to support lasting recovery. Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to assigned clients. Facilitate group therapy within the treatment program. Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Regularly evaluate client progress and update treatment plans based on clinical needs. Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and clinical support when needed. Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation. Coordinate care and communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Establish strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining appropriate professional and clinical boundaries. Support clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. Follow all applicable HIPAA, confidentiality, ethical, state, federal, and organizational requirements. Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and other treatment-related activities. Complete additional clinical responsibilities as assigned by program leadership. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution. Active or pending LPC, LCSW, LSW, or LCADC licensure preferred. Experience providing clinical services within behavioral health, substance use disorder, mental health, PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of individual counseling, group facilitation, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Ability to manage a clinical caseload while maintaining timely and accurate documentation. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary treatment environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing clinical responsibilities. Familiarity with Google Workspace and electronic clinical documentation systems is a plus. EMDR and/or TF-CBT certification is a plus. What We're Looking For We're looking for a therapist who combines strong clinical judgment with genuine compassion for individuals in recovery.
