Special Kids Care - 4.2 Houston, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Contract $60,000 - $100,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Inpatient BLS Certification CPR Outpatient Occupational therapy Working with children Early intervention Medical terminology Speech therapy Physical therapy Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dedicated Pediatric Home Therapy team as a Pediatric Home Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to children with diverse medical and developmental needs in their home environment. Special Kids Care is looking for Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists to evaluate and provide treatment for our Special Kids.

Responsibilities Provide skilled Evaluation and therapy services tailored to pediatric patients in their home setting Assist children with Therapuetic activities to promote independence and limit disease progression. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans that address therapy goals. Work with children with autism and other disabilities by applying specialized therapeutic techniques aligned with early intervention programs. Conduct assessments related to your specific treatment goals and have effective treatment strategies. Document patient progress accurately while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Educate families on therapy techniques, and safety protocols to empower them in caring for their child's needs at home. Experience Prior experience working in pediatric healthcare environments such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or home health settings is preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities within early intervention or school-based programs is advantageous. Familiarity with care coordination for complex pediatric cases. Proven ability to work effectively in outpatient or clinic environments as well as in home health settings—delivering patient-centered care that emphasizes safety and compassion.
