Job Description

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Mind Above Matter (MAM) in Lewisville, Texas and are seeking a passionate, driven Primary Therapist to join our founding clinical team! This is a rare opportunity to help shape programming, build meaningful client relationships, and grow alongside a supportive, mission-driven team. We provide compassionate, individualized care to every client and seek professionals who share this commitment. Our multidisciplinary team, including licensed counselors, social workers, nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists, is focused on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. As the Primary Therapist , you will play a pivotal role in advancing Mind Above Matter's mission to improve the overall mental health and well-being of both clients and the community. In this role, you will responsible for providing clinical care within our dual diagnosis program, addressing both mental health and substance use disorders
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Developing tailored treatment plans for each client and implementing the most effective interventions, while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions in full compliance with state regulations and professional licensing requirements. Efficiently managing client appointments to ensure timely delivery of all necessary clinical services. Coordinating care with referring physicians and other providers to maintain the highest standard of treatment. Actively engaging in supervision or consultation sessions as required by licensure guidelines. Taking on additional tasks within your licensure scope to support the mission of Mind Above Matter. Excelling in a collaborative team environment dedicated to creating meaningful change. Providing crisis intervention and ensuring appropriate referrals to higher levels of care when necessary to maintain client safety.
Qualifications:
A master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapist or an equivalent master's degree in a mental health field, coupled with current TX licensure as an LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPC, or LPC-A.
Preferred:
LCDC Preferred:
Prior experience working with substance use clients or in a substance use treatment facility. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfort with PC usage and electronic charting, with experience in EHR being a plus.
