2988842656-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Columbia Mental Health in Washington, DC seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide evidence-based outpatient therapy for diverse adults and adolescents. Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, and individual, group, and family therapy using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches. The therapist collaborates with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team, monitors risk and safety plans, and maintains accurate, timely documentation. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family therapy to diverse clients Monitor risk, perform crisis intervention, and maintain safety plans Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHREngage in case consultation, supervision, and team meetings Participate in quality improvement and outcome measurement initiatives Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and coping skills Pursue ongoing professional development and training Required Skills Clinical assessment and diagnosis (DSM-5-TR) Individual psychotherapy Group therapy facilitation Family therapy CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Trauma-informed treatment Crisis intervention and safety planning Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Interdisciplinary team collaboration
