We are currently seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Part-Time Clinicians (Therapists) to provide outpatient mental health counseling services within our private practice setting. At A Peace of Mind Counseling Services LLC, we believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment not only for our clients, but also for the professionals who serve them. We value clinicians who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout our community. Minimum Qualifications All applicants must be either fully licensed or provisionally licensed within the state of Virginia. Candidates must have completed a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or another related graduate program that meets Virginia clinical practice guidelines.
Qualified applicants may include:
Resident in Counseling Supervisee in Social Work Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Other qualified mental health professionals recognized under Virginia guidelines Preferred Experience & Skills The ideal candidate should possess the following experience and qualities: Proven experience in mental health counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings; clinic experience is highly preferred Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and social practices Strong background working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy Experience providing telehealth services using secure virtual platforms is strongly preferred Knowledge of crisis management protocols, behavior management strategies, and trauma-informed care approaches Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity Compensation $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Compensation is based on the candidate's level of clinical experience and qualifications.
