The District of Columbia Courts offers internships for students interested in seeking valuable experience in court administration. Interns have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the Court's mission to protect rights and liberties, uphold and interpret the law, and resolve disputes fairly and effectively in the District of Columbia. This internship is for Fall/Winter 2026.

Qualifications:

A U.S. Citizen or authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service to intern the U.S. and at least 18 years old. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week. Actively involved in an undergraduate program. Seeking students majoring in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Legal Studies and Data Analytics. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts' values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Fairness, Integrity, Respect and Transparency. Background and security investigations required.
