Job Description

Description The simulation educator works with faculty and staff to design and implement simulation courses for pre-licensure students on campus. Career Site Job Description The Office of Interprofessional Simulation (OIPS) is seeking a simulation educator, or nurse educator, to work with faculty and staff in designing and implementing simulation-based learning experiences for pre-licensure students. To support the mission and vision of the Health System, the University and the Office of Interprofessional Simulation by serving as a resource to employees, faculty, staff, residents and students for simulation activity. To evaluate training and education needs, program development as well as implementation and evaluation of clinical simulation activities and oversight for programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities Collaborates with other simulation personnel to provide learning experiences in clinical skills and simulation to meet faculty and student educational needs. Collaborates with faculty and simulation leadership to design and implement procedural, immersive, and distance simulation experiences aligned with course objectives and according to standards of best practice. Facilitates simulation sessions, including pre-briefing, scenario execution, and structured debriefing using evidence-based methods. Assists procedural simulation with setups, takedown, and monitoring of intensives and other procedural focused experiences. Perform other duties as assigned. (
Annual Salary:
$57,940 - $94,150) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, or other healthcare related field and three (3) years of related experience. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
