Certified Wellness Coach I (Tulelake) at Modoc County Office of Education Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 8/18/2026 Contact Sonya Murphy 530.233.7103 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range 42506.82 - 51438.92 Annually Length of Work Year 181 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Deliver group or classroom programming focused on wellness promotion and education, relationship building, bullying prevention, and life skills in the area of stress management, time management and problem-solving; Fulfill duties as needed of Wellness Assistants; Provide brief check-ins with students that provide emotional support and/or follow a manualized curriculum that enhances wellness; Support students with goal-setting and coping skills; Support small group programming of a structured curriculum to enhance wellness and life skills; Support the administration of universal screening programs in schools; Support students in completing behavioral health screenings; Support the school with identification and linkage of youth in need of behavioral support to providers in the school or broader organization or community; Connect students and families to internal and external behavioral or mental health resources; Facilitate communication with other professionals that are providing support and care to youth, including connecting individuals to licensed providers; Support the documentation of provided services for school-based billable services; Support school-wide behavioral systems; Support family and community engagement efforts; Observe, collect, and examine data on students to determine which students need additional support or intervention; Support the policies and programs of the Modoc County Office of Education and perform assigned duties consistent with school, district or office policies, regulations and procedures; Maintain professional competency by actively engaging in employer-directed service activities and other similar opportunities provided to staff; Cooperatively engage in the professional evaluation process with the supervisor to ensure ongoing professional growth and competence; Perform other duties similar to the above in scope and function as required.
