Job Description

Golden State Health and Safety Solutions is seeking certified CPR and First Aid instructors to teach life-saving emergency preparedness training for businesses and organizations.
Our mission is simple:
help people be prepared and stay safe during emergencies. We strongly encourage bilingual instructors (English/Spanish) to apply. Important Certification Requirement To ensure consistency in our training programs, we only accept instructors certified through: American Heart Association (AHA) Health & Safety Institute (HSI) (ASHI or Medic First Aid programs) Red Cross instructor certifications are not accepted for this position. Competitive Pay:
Earn $30 - $80 per hour depending on location and travel distance.
Flexible Schedule:
Part-time, contract-based teaching opportunities with evening and weekend availability.
Teach Life-Saving Skills:
Train everyday heroes to respond confidently during emergencies.
Variety of Training Environments:
Classes may be conducted onsite at businesses or through scheduled training events. Required Qualifications Instructor Certification through one of the following: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor Heartsaver Instructor OR Health & Safety Institute (HSI) ASHI Instructor Medic First Aid Instructor Preferred Skills Experience teaching CPR and First Aid certification classes Comfortable teaching both small and larger groups Ability to maintain a fun, engaging class environment Strong time management and organizational skills Additional Assets Ownership of training equipment including: Adult and infant mannequins with feedback devices AED trainers Ability to travel locally for onsite training Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Instructor Responsibilities Conduct engaging CPR, First Aid, and AED certification courses Follow AHA or HSI training standards and guidelines Provide hands-on practice opportunities for students Ensure students leave class confident and prepared to respond in emergencies Updated Onboarding Process Submit your application through Indeed Approved instructors receive access to our Enrolware scheduling system Submit required onboarding documents: Completed W-9 tax form Proof of current instructor certifications Signed Instructor Contractor Agreement Documents should be emailed to: patrick@goldenstatehealthandsafetysolutions.com Benefits Flexible schedule Contract work that fits around other professional commitments Opportunities for bonus pay based on performance Join a team focused on safety, preparedness, and life-saving training Apply Today If you are passionate about safety training and helping people stay prepared for emergencies, we encourage you to apply and join the Golden State Health and Safety Solutions instructor network.
