Part-Time (28-Week Program) About the Position Bayview Neighborhood Heroes is seeking a Certified Wellness Coach to facilitate after-school wellness, mentoring, and youth leadership programming at Parkway Elementary School and American Legion High School in partnership with Sacramento Unified School District. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about mentoring youth, promoting social-emotional wellness, and helping students develop leadership skills that support academic success and community engagement. Responsibilities Facilitate after-school programming at designated school sites. Lead groups of 15-20 students during each session. Conduct two 60-minute sessions per week for 28 weeks.

Deliver engaging lessons focused on:

Youth leadership Personal development Social-emotional learning Healthy decision-making Community involvement Build positive relationships with students. Support student engagement in school and academics. Maintain attendance and program documentation. Collaborate with Bayview Neighborhood Heroes and Sacramento Unified School District staff. Qualifications Certified Wellness Coach or equivalent credential. Experience working with youth. Knowledge of social-emotional learning and youth development. Strong communication and facilitation skills. Ability to pass all required background clearances.
