Looking for a respite provider that knows how to work with developmentally disabled children. The client is an 8 year old partially verbal autistic boy. He's a sweetheart and a very happy kid, but has a hard time fully trusting new people. You MUST have excellent rapport-building skills. He's very active and loves to run around, watch TV, play games, make art and music. He is on a G-tube so ideally looking for someone who can do feedings occasionally once rapport is established. Details Flexible schedule Up to 20 hours/week Work to be performed in client's home Transportation of client required, reimbursed at $0.76/mile Qualifications 18+ Registered to work in the USA Have own transportation Working with developmentally disabled children a MUST Needs to be available in emergency situations if Mom has medical complications

CPR & First Aid Certified Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
