Us's services and offerings. The position works mostly outdoors. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in kinesiology, exercise science, physical therapy, etc. is preferred. Background in health or fitness or related field preferred. Prior experience is a big plus. Experience with assisted stretch, personal training or massage therapy helps but not required as we will train. Prior experience is a big plus. Knowledge of basic anatomy, stretching techniques, mobility, flexibility, and body mechanics preferred Personal dedication to health and fitness and the benefits of stretching a plus.
Us's services Ability to assess a client's stated goals, physical limitations, and range of motion and select appropriate stretching techniques accordingly Ability to recognize signs of discomfort, pain, or contraindications and appropriately modify or discontinue a stretch Strong verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain to clients stretching techniques and services Ability to maintain accurate client information and session records Ability to follow established safety, sanitation, and client-care protocols Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures, including those related to timekeeping, maintaining respectful boundaries with clients and appropriate touching Ability to work with clients of varying genders, ages, sizes, temperaments, physical abilities and mobility levels Open and close the work area in accordance with established procedures, including preparing the space for daily operations and securing it at the end of the workday Conduct client intake and discuss goals and relevant physical considerations Conduct personalized assisted stretching sessions Support client retention Maintain a clean and safe stretching environment Perform all services in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner, maintaining client comfort and privacy and personal boundariesRepetitive physical movements and sustained use of the hands, arms, and upper body Regular and sustained physical contact with diverse client base Basic computer skills and ability to use scheduling, client management, and point-of-sale systems Participate in required training and continuing education to maintain and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to perform assisted stretching services safely and effectively Greet and engage prospective and existing clients Explain Stretchy.
Us services and answer prospective clients with questions Working outdoors at golf courses and other outdoor facilities and in our pop-tent in varying weather (cold, heat, rain, etc.). Working indoors at corporate spaces. Standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, holding, supporting and safely assisting clients with various stretches and positions are all part of the role.

As-needed, part-time, non-exempt employee We are looking for people who like sharing their knowledge & are passionate about flexibility. The Assisted Stretching Practitioner is responsible for providing clients with cautious, prudent and personalized assisted stretch designed to improve their flexibility, mobility, range of motion and overall physical well-being. The Practitioner works one-on-one with clients to understand their individual goals and physical needs and assists them with assisted stretches using proper technique and body mechanics as developed by Stretchy.Us.
