This is a part‑time, contract position ideal for an instructor who is passionate about education, skilled in hands‑on training, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and instructional quality. Responsibilities Teach AHA BLS Provider and CPR/AED certification classes Demonstrate proper CPR, AED, and emergency response techniques Assess student performance and provide clear, constructive feedback Prepare classroom materials, manikins, and equipment prior to each class Maintain accurate attendance and certification documentation Ensure compliance with AHA guidelines and BridgePoint policies Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment Requirements Current AHA BLS Instructor Certification (required) Strong communication and teaching skills Ability to manage small groups and provide hands‑on instruction Reliable transportation to Bloomfield, CT Professional, punctual, and organized Comfortable teaching evenings or weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching CPR/BLS or adult education Additional instructor credentials (First Aid, ACLS, PALS, etc.) Healthcare background (CNA, EMT, MA, RN, etc.) Compensation $25-$35 per hour , based on experience Additional per‑student bonuses available Flexible, class‑based schedule Opportunities to teach more classes as programs grow Why Join BridgePoint?
