Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals on essential first aid techniques, CPR, and emergency response procedures. This role requires excellent public speaking skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences in both classroom and practical settings. The First Aid Instructor will play a crucial role in ensuring that participants are well-prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations. We are hiring American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Health and Safety Institute Instructors (formally ASHI). Each class pays a minimum of $150 dollars. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques. Conduct hands-on training sessions to ensure participants can effectively apply learned skills. Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with participants to foster an interactive learning experience. Stay updated on the latest first aid guidelines and best practices to ensure accurate instruction. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance training programs and materials. Experience Proven experience in teaching or instructing, particularly in adult education settings. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Background in first aid, CPR, or lifeguarding is highly desirable. Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus. Familiarity with swimming safety protocols is beneficial for aquatic training sessions. Ability to engage participants of varying skill levels and backgrounds effectively. Own your own equipment or we can assist you in obtaining equipment at reduced rates. •Candidates must be certified or soon to be certified to teach CPR/AED/First Aid by the Red Cross or equivalent institution• Join us in making a difference by equipping individuals with the vital skills needed to respond confidently in emergencies.
