About This Role A growing integrative lactation and postpartum practice in Miami is looking for a passionate IBCLC to join our team. This is not your average lactation role. We go far beyond the latch — combining evidence-based lactation support with whole-person postpartum care. Our clients get a partner, not just a consultant. You'll see families across office, telehealth, and in-home settings, supported by a dedicated admin team so you can focus entirely on clinical care. What You'll Do ✦ Provide comprehensive lactation consultations across office, telehealth, and in-home settings ✦ Conduct full feeding assessments — latch, weighted feeds, oral function, milk transfer — and develop personalized care plans ✦ Educate families on breastfeeding techniques, physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and infant feeding across the postpartum journey ✦ Collaborate with an experienced lead IBCLC on complex cases including tongue tie, low supply, NICU, and multiples ✦ Work alongside obstetricians, pediatricians, doulas, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated family care ✦ Document patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner through our EHR system ✦ Support community education — classes, presentations, and outreach on maternal and infant health topics ✦ Create culturally sensitive education materials for the diverse families we serve What We're Looking For ✦ Current IBCLC certification in good standing — required ✦ Strong knowledge of lactation physiology, obstetrics, neonatology, and maternal health ✦ Warm, empathetic, and genuinely invested in the families you serve ✦ Excellent communication skills — you can educate and empower without overwhelming ✦ Comfortable with EHR documentation and data tracking ✦ Based in or near Miami-Dade ✦ Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds — Miami is our community Bonus points if you have: ✦ RN, OT, or SLP credentials ✦ Tongue tie assessment and post-frenectomy support experience ✦ Postpartum wellness, nutrition, or sleep background ✦ Spanish language proficiency ✦ Existing Miami referral relationships What We Offer ✦ Established client base — no building from scratch ✦ Dedicated admin team — you focus on clinical care, not scheduling ✦ Insurance credentialing support under our group NPI ✦ Flexible scheduling — office, telehealth, and home visits ✦ Collaborative clinical environment with an experienced lead IBCLC ✦ Opportunity to grow with an expanding Miami practice Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
