Your documented experience must provide evidence of the following: Knowledge of organizional, operional, and programmic concepts and practices applied by public, prive, or nonprofit agencies and organizions engaged in public health or other health-reled activities. Knowledge of the methods, processes, and techniques used to develop and deliver public health or health-reled programs in Ste and local settings. Knowledge of a specialized public health program. Knowledge of, and skill in, the applicion of administrive or analytical methods and techniques necessary for working within the framework of a public health or reled organizion and carrying out specific program functions. Skill in oral and written communicions, ghering and conveying informion, making oral presentions, and preparing reports, correspondence, and other written merials. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualificion requirements listed below:
Minimum Qualificions:
You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Leading executive-level policy development and stregic planning for a large public health organizion, ensuring alignment with legislive, regulory, and operional priorities. Directing comprehensive communicion programs, applying health communicion and risk communicion science to support various constituencies and advance organizional missions. Managing congressional liaison activities, including budget formulion and justificion, preparing testimony, analyzing legislive impacts, and coordining responses to high-level inquiries from HHS, OMB, and Congressional staff. Building and sustaining partnerships with federal, ste, local, and internional organizions to advance public health policy, planning, and communicion stregies.
