Hybrid Job Description This position is based on-site in Kapolei, HI. Role is open to local residents only. No bilingual requirement. The Well-Being Navigator will build trust and rapport with Disney employees and leaders at their dedicated worksite to help facilitate culture change in all areas of well-being. This client-facing role will be onsite full-time with the ability to travel to any of Disney's properties at Disney's request.
The Navigator will serve as a wellness benefit concierge, providing referrals and education that support both emotional and physical well-being. The Navigator is committed to addressing employees' barriers to care, including social determinants of health, by helping employees navigate healthcare services, schedule appointments, and connect to Disney benefits, internal resources, and community resources.
The Navigator will exhibit competency in providing culturally sensitive care to a diverse workforce. In collaboration with Disney stakeholders and well-being teams, the Navigator will help promote wellness initiatives, close gaps in care, support employee engagement, and contribute to a culture of health across the organization. Customer Engagement Wellness Initiatives & Communication
- Proactively engage employees in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Provide referrals and social support to appropriate well-being resources, programs, healthcare services, and community resources.
- Connect employees to Disney benefits and local resources that address individual health and social needs.
- Engage thoughtfully with individuals who may be unaware of their care needs or available resources.
- Follow up with employees on referrals and resource utilization.
- Complete required documentation, record keeping, and reporting in a timely manner.
- Schedule Employee Assistance Program (EAP) appointments as appropriate.
- Help employees access benefits, download applications, and navigate available services.
- Triage employees to critical resources when necessary.
- Schedule coaching services and additional support programs for eligible employees.
- Promote awareness of the Well-Being Navigator role and available health resources.
- Support wellness campaigns, outreach efforts, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Staff onsite events and resource fairs as needed.
- Meet with leaders and business partners to increase awareness and utilization of available well-being services.
- Deliver presentations and educational sessions on health and wellness topics.
- Distribute promotional and educational materials to employees, leaders, and resource centers.
- Support annual enrollment activities through webinars, educational sessions, and onsite support.
- Remain nimble and adaptable to evolving population and business needs.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, public health, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in workplace health, wellness, health promotion, or wellness programming.
Understanding and sensitivity to multicultural communities is important.
Highly sociable and comfortable initiating conversations and presenting to groups.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong team player capable of accomplishing program goals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
High degree of patience and commitment to team culture.
Flexible schedule with the ability to occasionally support evenings, weekends, and alternate shifts as business needs require.
Work schedule and work location are determined based on client and operational needs. Interview process Virtual via video

Education:
Educational requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in health and wellness field
Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or social work
Experience with direct member communication (written and verbal)
Experience conducting onsite employee engagement activities.
Experience presenting to groups and facilitating wellness education.
Knowledge of healthcare navigation, social determinants of health, and emotional health needs.
Familiarity with employer-sponsored health and wellness programs.
Experience working in diverse, multicultural populations.
Experience supporting large-scale employee well-being initiatives and events
Filipino language preferred but not required.
Demonstrates knowledge of employee benefits and insurance programs, effectively communicating complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
