Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Provider to offer support and temporary care for youth who have been diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance. Your efforts will enable family to take necessary breaks, knowing their loved ones are in capable hands. Respite care is in-person, short-term or temporary care Respite workers assist youth in providing a low- restrictive environment that provides relief for the usual caretaker and that is aimed at de-escalation of stressful situations. Center Counseling offers both individual and group (up to 4 children) respite care. Skills Experience working with youth and children Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with clients and team members while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Proficiency in emergency response procedures including CPR and first aid certification In order to qualify, applicant must be 18 years old, have a high school education, and be CPR certified. Upon hire, Respite worker will attend an online Respite training to become certified. Benefits are not offered at this time. This is a part time position. Must be available to work most evenings (3-8), most Fridays and Saturdays full day.

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
