Develops a comprehensive breast-feeding plan Assesses patient's status through interview, observation and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes Provides a thorough ongoing assessment of breast-feeding activities Provides education regarding alternative feeding methods Initiates milk production Uses appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes Ensures infant safety when breast feeding is not effective Identifies patients in need of follow up after discharge Completes care plan and discharge plan in a timely manner Documentation is thorough, accurate and timely. All patient interactions are documented in a concise format in the EMR Able to schedule outpatient appointments in EMR Enters patient charges accurately and timely Identifies practice problems on the unit Works on assigned projects, data collection, audits as assigned Participates in the implementation of Performance Improvement initiatives Collaborate with other members of a multidisciplinary team effectively, professionally and respectfully. Chooses an appropriate and meaningful communication style when interacting with others: gives and accepts constructive feedback to/from peers. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $34.02per hour
36per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
