YMCA CDP
initiatives. Provide effective and meaningful instruction to class participants while creating a motivating, friendly, and non-competitive environment. Develop and maintain relationships that foster small community connections. Be available to participants before and after class to answer questions and follow up as needed. Conduct yourself in accordance with the YMCA Mission. Enter program data accurately and securely immediately after class. Perform other duties/ assignments as needed at the YMCA.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Minimum of 16 years of age required. A high school diploma, or equivalent, with 1-2 years' experience leading/ facilitating classes and working with special populations is required. Knowledge of basic health and wellness principles and exercises, as well as healthy living behaviors. Knowledge of form and technique of strength training exercises and function of cardio equipment preferred. Must have exceptional communication and organizational skills to support participants and maintain required documentation.
