Job Description
Description Services include:
- health screenings
- blood pressure, finger stick cholesterol, height, and weight, and provide educational information on screening outcomes and next steps health educators
- staff displays at health fairs and other health promotion events Schedules vary depending on events and staffing needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing excellent customer service to our clients Demonstrating both professionalism and relational skill that makes participants feel welcome and safe Performing and recording biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, BMI and finger-poke blood draws Reviewing results with individuals, providing coaching and offering resources to make healthy lifestyle changes Assisting team in setting up and tearing down work stations, which may include lifting 10-20 lbsQUALIFICATIONS
Four-year degree in a health-related field such as nursing, exercise science, community health, or nutrition Current CPR certification Ability and willingness to work early mornings Knowledge of the fundamental principles of physical activity and nutrition and how they impact overall health Outstanding customer service skills; professional appearance and demeanor Drive and maturity to be dependable, punctual, and responsible Excellent verbal skills, with the ability to relate to and communicate with a wide range of individuals Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced setting Reliable transportationPreferred:
