We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and energetic Nutritional Counselor/Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, educating them on healthy lifestyle changes, and being part of a fast-paced medical environment. Whether you have a background in nutrition or are an experienced Medical Assistant looking to grow your career, we are willing to train the right candidate on our clinical protocols and nutrition program. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one nutritional counseling and lifestyle coaching to patients. Educate patients on meal planning, healthy habits, and long-term weight management. Encourage and motivate patients while celebrating their successes. Assist providers with patient care and clinic flow. Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and patient measurements. Perform body composition analyses and other clinic-specific assessments. Administer injections and perform clinical duties (training provided if needed). Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment. Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming patient experience. Work collaboratively with providers and the clinic team to achieve patient success.
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Health Sciences, Exercise Science, Public Health, Kinesiology, or a related field.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
