Job Description
$30-$35 per hour Fargo, ND Contract
- Duration: 03 Months
- + The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team is committed to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of onsite personnel.
To support this mission, we are seeking an experienced Onsite Medical Representative (OMR).
+ In this role, you will work closely with the WHS site manager and other safety personnel. Responsibilities include supporting new-hire orientations, attending safety committee meetings, engaging in daily associate interaction, and participating in case management reviews.
+ The OMR independently assesses and administers first aid and provides guidance on occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. This role involves referring associates for outside care when needed, maintaining medical records, and supporting emergency response.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Provide first aid and refer to external medical providers when necessary.
+ Reduce injury risk through associate education and proactive engagement.
+ Maintain records for all care provided.
+ Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
+ Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
+ Conduct coaching on safe work habits during floor interactions.
+ Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean workspace.
+ Participate in certification training for first aid, CPR, and AED.
+ Maintain valid first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
+ Support random saliva drug testing procedures.
+ Assist with onsite emergency response.
- Basic Qualifications:
- + High School diploma or equivalent + Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider + Valid State EMT or National EMT or Paramedic License (Dept. of Health or NREMT)
- Qualifications:
- + Certified instructor for First Aid/CPR/AED. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office. + Experience in industrial wellness programs. + Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders or ergonomics. + Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation. + Experience with digital medical record systems.
