Massage Mastery Institute (MMI) Who We Are Massage Mastery Institute (MMI) is a continuing education organization located in Neptune, New Jersey, dedicated to advancing the knowledge, skills, and professional development of licensed massage therapists. As MMI continues to grow, we are seeking qualified and passionate massage therapy educators to join our instructor team. Who We're Looking For We are interested in instructors who are: Passionate about massage therapy education and professional development Knowledgeable and experienced within their area of expertise Engaging, organized, and confident in the classroom Able to communicate concepts clearly to adult learners with varying levels of experience Committed to professionalism, ethical practice, and evidence-informed education Reliable, collaborative, and able to work independently Interested in contributing to a positive, supportive learning environment Motivated to continue developing their own knowledge and teaching skills Experienced educators are encouraged to apply. We are also open to qualified massage therapy professionals who demonstrate strong subject-matter expertise and an aptitude for teaching. Instructor Responsibilities Depending on the course and instructor role, responsibilities may include: Preparing for and delivering engaging continuing education courses for licensed massage therapists Providing clear instruction, demonstrations, hands-on guidance, and constructive feedback Creating a welcoming, professional, and inclusive classroom environment Following approved course objectives, curriculum, schedules, and continuing education requirements Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and modeling ethical practice Staying current with developments, research, and best practices relevant to the instructor's area of expertise Communicating professionally with MMI leadership and students Assisting with course materials and educational resources as appropriate Supporting MMI's commitment to high-quality massage therapy education Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: A current massage therapy license in good standing; New Jersey licensure is preferred for instructors teaching in New Jersey Professional experience as a licensed massage therapist Demonstrated knowledge or advanced training within the subject area being taught Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or public-speaking experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependability and professional conduct A commitment to continued learning and professional development Additional credentials, certifications, healthcare experience, or specialized training related to the proposed course topic are welcomed.
