Know Your Team:
Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community. Responsibilities Responsible for applying professional clinical skills and expertise to the care and management of breastfeeding infants and lactating mothers. Responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of lactation support services to clinical staff, patients and community members. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing One (1) year of training and program development experience Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
Training:
Intensified training in lactation BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. NRP Current IBCLC or IBCLC Exam scheduled within one (1) year from date of hire
