The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of soccer , enjoy working with children, and be able to create an engaging, positive, and active learning environment. This position will provide individualized instruction based on the student's educational, developmental, and physical needs while building a strong and positive relationship with the student and their learning coach(es).
Key Responsibilities One-on-One Student Support:
Provide individualized instruction and support based on the student's specific educational and developmental needs.
Teaching:
Deliver engaging lessons, answer questions, provide guidance, and support the student's academic progress.
Soccer & Physical Activities:
Incorporate soccer skills, movement, and age-appropriate physical activities into the student's daily learning experience.
Student Engagement:
Maintain an energetic, positive, patient, and encouraging environment that keeps the student motivated and engaged.
Individualized Planning:
Develop short- and long-term learning plans based on the student's individual goals and needs.
Curriculum & Lesson Planning:
Prepare customized lessons, assignments, activities, and learning materials.
Assessment Preparation:
Support the student in preparing for required assessments and monitor their progress.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, work samples, and other required documentation.
Communication:
Maintain positive communication with the student's learning coach(es), family, and appropriate staff members.
Flexibility:
Be flexible with the schedule and willing to adjust instructional activities according to the student's needs. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, teaching, coaching, or in a related educational setting. Strong knowledge of soccer and the ability to teach basic soccer skills. Highly energetic, active, and enthusiastic . Enjoys working one-on-one with children. Patient, dependable, responsible, and encouraging. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a structured yet engaging learning environment. Comfortable incorporating physical activity and movement into the student's daily routine. Flexible with scheduling. Join Our Team!
