Job Description

Empower Lives. Transform Wellness. Own a Program That's Already Making a Difference. Are you passionate about nutrition and lifestyle coaching — and ready to take real ownership of a functional wellness program with an established patient base? Live Well Chiropractic & Wellness Center, a family-oriented practice serving Bedford County for over 25 years, is looking for a Functional Nutritionist/Health Coach to run our functional wellness program. Why Live Well? We're not a churn-and-burn clinic. We serve 1,000+ families, and roughly 75% of our new patients come from referrals — because our Total Body Wellness approach (chiropractic care, tissue therapies, and functional nutrition working together) actually gets people better. In this role you'll get: Direct mentorship from the clinical director — you won't be figuring this out alone An established caseload and real functional-health protocols to build on (lab-based work, not just meal plans) Genuine autonomy to run the program your way Room to grow — this role starts part-time with a clear path to full-time as your caseload builds Position Overview This is a patient-facing coaching and nutrition role — no front-desk or admin duties. You'll build real relationships with patients and help them make changes that stick. What You'll Do Conduct patient assessments and build personalized wellness plans Coach and educate patients on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and meal planning Track patient progress and adjust protocols based on outcomes (experience with functional lab work like GI-MAP or hormone panels is a plus, not a requirement) Lead group presentations, workshops, and health-fair demonstrations Collaborate directly with the clinical director on patient care What We're Looking For Genuine passion for health, nutrition, and helping people change their lives Strong communication skills and real empathy — you listen as much as you talk Comfortable presenting to groups, not just one-on-one A self-starter who takes ownership of outcomes Nutrition/health coaching certification (RD, CNS, NBC-HWC, or similar) preferred — but if you have the passion and drive, we'll invest in your training Schedule Part-time to start (~25 hours/week), with the opportunity to grow into full-time. Some evenings and occasional weekends for workshops and health fairs. Compensation $25+/hour, depending on experience.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
