Job Description
Ignite Performance & Health is hiring a part-time Nutrition Coach to work with our clients in person at our Chesterfield clinic and remotely between visits. We run one integrated program — medically supervised care, strength training, and nutrition coaching together, or as separate services people choose from. Nutrition is a core part of that program . The coach in this role is a real part of how our clients get results. This is a coaching role focused on client outcomes. There is no sales requirement — clients are sourced, signed, and renewed by ownership. What you'll do: Run one-on-one nutrition sessions with clients at the clinic Handle remote check-ins between visits — messaging, food logs, weekly adjustments Build practical plans around each client's schedule, food preferences, and training load Reinforce habits around protein intake, energy balance, and consistency Track client progress and keep clean documentation in our coaching platform Work alongside our head training and nutrition coach and the training staff Support clients receiving medically supervised weight-loss and hormone care with the habit side of their program What we're looking for: A current nutrition coaching credential — Precision Nutrition, NASM-CNC, ISSA, NCI, or comparable. Required. Experience coaching adults through real habit change, not just writing macros Comfortable with strength training and gym language; a personal training certification is a plus Experience with clients 40 and older, with an emphasis on safety and longevity Organized and strong over text and email — a lot of this job happens between appointments Scope of the role: This is a coaching position, not a clinical one. Missouri restricts the titles "dietitian" and "nutritionist" to licensed practitioners, and medical nutrition therapy sits outside this role. If you hold a Missouri dietitian license, apply anyway — we would like to talk. If you do not, you will coach general nutrition and habit change within that scope. Schedule and pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on credentials and experience 10-15 hours per week Flexible — we build the schedule around your availability and our client load
