Job Description
Job Description Summary Qualified candidates are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year agreement to the unit. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred: A minimum of three years of registered nursing experience required for RN candidates. At least one year of experience practicing as an IBCLC in a high-volume, Baby-Friendly designated hospital is preferred. International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification required within one year of hire and must be maintained. Current South Carolina or compact-state RN license required for RN candidates. Current American Heart Association BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required Registered Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists will also be considered RN candidates hired with an associate or diploma degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully earn their BSN within four years of their hire or reclassification date, in accordance with Policy A141. Work Shift Job Description Education:
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing or Associate/Diploma degree in nursing; if Associate/Diploma degree, must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years in position and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years in position; or graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology program; or a bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field of study from an American Dietetic Association approved program.Experience:
At least 1 year of work experience in area of licensure is required. Experience practicing as an IBCLC in a high-volume Baby Friendly designated hospital is preferred.Licensure/Certification:
RN- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state required.
PT, OT, SLP
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist by the South Carolina Board of Examiners. NBCOT certification required for Occupational Therapist. Registered Dietitian
- Must hold the national RD (Registered Dietitian) or RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) credential and hold an active state Licensed Dietitian (LD) credential issued by the SC Department of LLR.
- Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function. (Continuous)
