Specialty Program Instructor Position Type:

Part-time Pay Range starts at $16 per hour (or more depending on experience) Are you passionate about sharing your talents and helping others grow in skills and confidence? As a Specialty Program Instructor at the YMCA, you'll play a key role in creating high-energy, high-impact experiences for our members. You'll lead engaging, educational classes that build character, boost confidence, and encourage connection — all while keeping safety and fun at the heart of everything you do.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading fun, safe, and engaging classes that reflect the Y's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Building real relationships with participants and families — and learning names like a pro! Keeping things running smoothly and on time (your classes = organized AND awesome) Subbing when needed and cheering on your teammates — we're all about that team player energy Reporting and documenting any incidents to keep everyone safe Keeping your equipment organized and your training sharp (we'll help with that!) Minimum Age:

18 You have at least 2 years of experience in your specialty A professional, positive attitude and great communication skills A heart for service and respectful culture — you welcome all, from all walks of life CPR/First Aid/AED certified (or willing to get there within 30 days of hire)

High school diploma or equivalent
